A Bit About Nathalie

Nathalie is a registered clinical psychologist and a member of the Register of Clinical Psychologists approved by the Department of Health of the HKSAR Government. 

 

Nathalie graduated with the Dean's List honour and subsequently obtained a Master of Arts in Psychology. Prior to clinical practice, she earned a Master of Social Sciences in Clinical Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

 

She furthered her studies and obtained a Master of Arts in Philosophy, since she believed psychology and philosophy are inseparable disciplines.

Nathalie has extensive experiences in family therapy, Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, Cognitive-behavioral Therapy (CBT) and emergency psychological support.

She is a full member of the Asian Academy of Family Therapy (AAFT), having received advanced training in structural family therapy from Dr. Lee Wai-Yung. Under the guidance of David Epston, she completed an advanced certificate course in narrative therapy at the Dulwich Centre in Australia, and was invited to publish her graduation thesis in an academic journal.

She led the emergency psychological support services in Hong Kong Red Cross, and trained over 1,000 members of the public in Psychological First Aid. She is continuing her training in Emotional-Focused Therapy under the guidance of teachers including Professor Rhonda Goldman.

Nathalie's clinical experiences is wide-ranging. She has extensive experience in psychological assessment and  psychotherapy for adolescents, adults, families, and medical patients living with their psychological distress, including common mental health problems (depression, anxiety), interpersonal difficulties, trauma experiences, family relationship problems, etc.
